Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth the price This is supposed to be a top of the line model but I have had chairs from discount stores better than this. While it boasts of having a 2.5 density seat foam and is said to be glued, screwed, and bracketed. The reclining mechanism and base are so weak that it feels like sitting on a playground spring animal. The metal of the mechanism is to thin and has a lot of play from side to side. The base is to small for the size of chair entirely, sitting on the edge of the seat tips the whole chair forward off the ground. I even ordered it with just a rocker recliner option thinking it would be sturdier than the pedestal of the swivel rocker/recliner. It lacks enough padding in the center of the back rest which when combined with a thick lumbar region causes back pain when reclined all the way back and once the seat becomes broken in there is a void between the seat cushion and lumbar cushion that when coupled with the lack of cushion in the back rest is like laying back on a hump. And lastly, the foot rest doesn't come up high enough upon the initial opening, it does go higher as you recline but for sitting and watching TV your legs do not reach parallel to the floor. Needless to say this chair has now become a gift for someone else.
