Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Basic Furniture The Tahoe group is good basic furniture: 1. Construction quality: 5/5: The average sofa set uses 1.5 density foam in the frame. The Tahoe group uses 1.8 density foam. The average sofa uses particle board. Tahoe group does not. Many sofa sets do not cushion the sides and back of the sofa. The Tahoe group does. The bottoms of each piece are neatly finished, with zippered storage for legs. At this price point, EVERYBODY uses engineered wood. 2. Comfort: 5/5: The sofa, chair, and loveseat are the smallest scale three seat, two seat, and 1 seat cushioned furniture set you will find. Although the set is borderline shallow for thigh support - 34 inches deep, - the set largely make up for it with a very high seating point. I am the longest legged and tallest member of my family. The fabric is fine. Based on previous reviews, To enhance durability, I have placed throws over the touch points. 3. Value: 5/5: At a price point of less than $1,000.00 for the set, you will not find better furniture for the money. 4. Overall: 5/5: This is not a La-Z-Boy or Pottery Barn set. Keep realistic expectations, and you will be very happy. Thanks.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cracking Arm and Warranty I Can't Find We ordered this couch online after speaking with a sales person in store. We did not have a particularly pleasant experience there so we decided to instead order it online. We picked up the couch in store when it was in. Within a few days, I noticed that the right arm was making a very noticeable cracking sound when I applied very little pressure while leaning into it. We immediately felt like this indicated the "serious structural integrity" was compromised or that the couch was not the same quality as those in store. We returned the couch in store and were told it could not be returned. I cannot locate the actual warranty which should be for 90 days. This information is not readily available on the web site, my receipt, or in store and was not explained by any salesperson. If I'm not mistaken, federal law indicates warranties and return polices should be easy to locate. Neither was before purchasing the couch and we still cannot locate the warranty. We received no such paperwork with the couch. For these reasons, I would not recommend this couch to anyone. The quality and warranty/return polices are very poor.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cheap Material, Overall Average Couch Bought this couch 1 year ago and it has seen daily use. The drawback is the major piling on the cushion covers. The rest of the material will also "pile" if it comes into repeated contact with anything. For example: the arm rests and the part where your legs brush against the front of the couch. The piling can be removed, but the cushions are looking slightly worn so I'm worried they will end up looking threadbare if I do that. According to the store this isn't covered by the 1 year warranty. So I highly, HIGHLY recommend anyone buying this to invest in a couch cover. Also, the seat cushion foam feels like it is breaking down slightly faster than it should. Included are pictures that show small sections of the "piling" problem.
