Rated 1 out of 5 by from Glider mechanism wears out I bought two of these chairs in 2014. I'm 6'5" and I'm very comfortable sitting in these chairs. However, within a year, the glider mechanisms began wearing out. I would see ball bearings on the floor and black dust. Eventually, you could no longer rock in them because it was metal grinding against metal. Also, this was from use by wife or me. My kids did not rock in these chairs cause the chairs are too big. Both chairs have the same issue which tells me that it is a defect in manufacturing. The chairs recline and are comfortable. But I like to rock and can no longer do that. Plus I waited too long and they are out of warranty. For the price point, these should be much more durable. I'm afraid to get them repaired with manufacturer parts because it will probably have the same issue. Another review on this site said they had the chair replaced three times. So just a warning, if you like to rock, do not buy this chair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't hold up We purchased this chair in 2013 and bought the additional warranty. We have had this chair replaced three times. After it was replaced last in 2016 the company refused to replace again. The chair never lasts past a year. We would stop using it until for long periods of time once broken. We rock our children in this chair and that is all. The same exact part wears out & eventually falls off every time! This chair is not worth the money. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Furniture at this price point should lasts years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought this recliner for my father last Christmas. He said he has never owned such a comfortable chair and he really likes the look of the of it also. I purchased the darkest color real leather chair. He has had it for 11 months and it isn't showing anywhere, and he has been known to be kind of rough on furniture in the past. I would like to know the name of the color of the darkest real leather chair, so I can look for furniture that comes in the same color. I wish there was a matching sofa, but it looks like this chair doesn't have any.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Leather color rubbing off We have had this chair for 7 months. The "leather" is already showing signs of wear. We are not home often and are not couch potatoes or large people. We do have 3 children who are not allowed to rough house on the furniture. I only use the leather cleaner that I bought from sofa mart and follow the directions on the bottle. The "leather" color and texture seem to be rubbing right off in a couple of areas. Hopefully, sofa mart will honor the warranty that I purchased and replace this. The warranty only lets you replace each piece once so we are waiting because it hasn't even been a year and this is already becoming an eye sore. I am worried what it is going to look like in 4 years!
