Shop the Furniture in The Dream Home
This year’s Denver Dream Home brings together a sense of calm, comfort, and curated style—with just a hint of storybook charm. Designed by Furniture Row's Interior Designer and Buyer, Barb Chandler, the home’s aesthetic is a soft take on cottage style: one that feels warm and cozy, but never overdone.
“I wanted the Fall 2025 Denver St. Jude Dream Home to feel a bit like a cottage,” Barb explains. “Not everyone wants 'over-the-top cottagecore style' for their home. Some folks love the look of cottage style, however they may only want a sprinkle of this style infused into their own home. I kept this in mind when selecting the furniture and décor. Throughout the home, you do get a sense of cottage without it being overly done. I have heard a lot of people that have walked through the home comment that it feels cozy and homey. Those two feelings are exactly what I was hoping for with the Denver St. Jude Dream Home this year.”
Her thoughtful furniture selections reflect that vision—layering vintage silhouettes, warm textures, and inviting color palettes in a way that feels lived-in and loved. It’s a subtle, accessible approach to cottage style that balances traditional charm with everyday livability.
Let’s take the full tour, room by room.
Entryway & Library Foyer
From the moment you step through the front door, the home wraps you in character. In the entryway, the Moradabad Console Table stuns with its carved wood design, bringing a sense of history and artistry to the space. It’s flanked by leafy green plants and grounded by the Rayna Washable Runner Rug, a vintage-style classic that quietly says “welcome home.”
Just beyond, the library foyer unfolds as a curated reading retreat. Two clean-lined Devon Bronze Chairs face each other over the Nashik Trunk Coffee Table, which doubles as a conversation piece thanks to its exotic, hand-carved design. Tall arched display cabinets frame a black electric fireplace, with an urn-shaped metal lamp adding a vintage glow to this storybook-worthy setup.

The Great Room
The heart of the home is full of contrasts—and charm. A bright Hudson Sofa offers modern simplicity, while two Charlotte High-Leg Recliners (coming soon to Furniture Row!) balance it with vintage elegance, thanks to their rolled arms and striped upholstery. Classic Urn Table Lamps flank the seating area, casting a warm glow that enhances the room’s inviting feel. The classic-yet-colorful rug ties the palette together with its rich traditional motif, layering softness underfoot.
The carved Sedona Coffee Table and a set of round, rustic nesting tables keep the vibe relaxed but intentional—proof that a cozy cottage aesthetic can still feel fresh in an open-concept layout.

Great Room Dining Space by the Kitchen
The great room is divided into two functional zones. Behind the seating area is a charming dining space that leads to the kitchen, with a style that blends functionality with farmhouse flair. The Willow Way Round Dining Table brings classic cottage energy with its wood finish and turned pedestal base, while the Meadow Lake Dining Chairs add a cheerful, modern touch in their green painted finish.

Formal Dining Room
For more formal gatherings, the separate dining room turns up the timelessness. The Mountain Home Rectangle Dining Table anchors the space with its two-tone finish: a rich, dark cherry planked top paired with a white, turned-leg base. Four Dakota Dining Chairs with button-tufted upholstery round out the scene with softness and shape.
Against the wall, the Jolie Server makes a statement with its intricate carved doors, topped by a pair of Burlap Buffet Lamps that blend natural texture with warm metal bases—cottage charm, reimagined.

Primary Bedroom
Painted in a soothing sage green and draped with floral curtains, the primary bedroom feels like a cottage hideaway designed for rest. The Bering Bed and matching nightstands ground the space with warm, traditional wood tones, while the Blanco Dresser brightens the mood with its creamy white finish.
A large, rust-colored rug adds softness and vintage pattern underfoot. In the corner, the Book Nook Accent Chair with tufting and rolled arms creates the perfect reading spot, paired with the tall Julie Floor Lamp and matching table lamps at each bedside.

Guest Bedroom
In the guest room, softness takes the lead. The Rainier Upholstered Bed features a stunning arched upholstered headboard for plush comfort, while the Sedona Dresser and nightstands bring rustic texture to balance it out.
A floral Willow Swivel Glider Chair adds a touch of soft cottage charm, and a creamy, rectangular storage ottoman finishes the space with both form and function. Underfoot, the Eno Allover Blue Rug brings the room together with its soft florals and timeless palette.

The Home Office
With a mix of vintage natural textures and crisp contrasts, the office leans into a refined nautical vibe. The Hartford Writing Desk sets the tone with its warm wood desk top and dark base. Nearby, the white carved bookcases and rustic fireplace TV stand finish the room while reinforcing the maritime palette.
A tailored Gramercy Park Dining Chair pulls double duty at the desk, and the blue leather Aviation Leather Club Chair adds rich color and a retro lounge feel—like something you’d find in a captain’s study. A brushed nickel floor lamp and a soft, beige patterned rug with gold highlights finish the room with just the right balance of warmth and polish.

First Kids Bedroom
The first kids’ room takes its cues from traditional cottage design. The Kate Lounge Storage Bed offers rich wood tones and plenty of built-in drawers. The matching nightstand and dresser feature bombe-front frames that catch the eye.
Two whimsical lamps—a tall, vintage bedside lamp and a classic metal desk lamp—help brighten the space, while the white Rupa Desk Chair adds a final touch of carved charm.

Second Kids Bedroom
The twin sized Stoney Creek White Panel Beds take center stage in the second kids’ room, where they bring a clean-lined look that’s both cheerful and practical. A matching central nightstand, a desk, and a dresser with mirror make the space functional for siblings or guests.
For seating and study time, the curved Jolie Dining Chair adds a soft touch, and the Ashlynn Table Lamps brings just the right glow for bedtime stories or homework.
